JOSEPH ROMANO age 98. Beloved husband of the late Theresa. Loving father of John (Carolynn), Diane Atwara (Patrick), Joseph, Jr. (Diana) and Michael (Blanche). Cherished grandfather of Dawn, John, Lori, Jamie, Patrick, Christine, Mary, Michael, Cindy, Joey III, Theresa, Carrie, Anthony, Cherie and Nicole. Great grandfather of 35 and great great grandfather of 6. Brother of Joanne Rice and the following deceased, Vincent Romano, Mary Frieg, Alice Lombardi, Antoinette Zerbini, Rosemary Forgen, Mildred Corrao, Robert Romano and Sonny “John” Romano. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Joe was a proud U.S. Navy WW II Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 610 in Brook Park, Ohio and the V.F.W. Post 6676 in Berea, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial, St. Bartholomew Church, Thursday January 27, 2022 at 10:30 AM. Interment Woodvale Cemetery. Friends received Wednesday 4 – 8 PM (MASKS REQUESTED) at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH (West of I-71).
