Joyce Santoli

Joyce Santoli (nee Younker) age 75 passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, October 23, 2026. Beloved mother of Jackie Santoli; sister of Gary Younker (Violet deceased) and Robert Younker; devoted daughter of Clarence (aka Bud) and Grace Younker (nee Bartinelli) (both deceased); loving aunt and friend of many.

Joyce will be remembered for her generous heart, kind spirit, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She dedicated more than 30 years of service to Ohio Bell, where her coworkers affectionately nicknamed her "Chocatoli" because of her well-known love of chocolate and her sweet demeanor. Joyce found great happiness in cooking and baking for those she loved, especially during her cherished Easter gatherings, where an abundance of food ensured no one ever left hungry. Her cavatelli and meatballs became family favorites and were a staple at many celebrations. Joyce had a special place in her heart for children and animals, and she generously volunteered her time collecting signatures to petition the end of puppy mills. A devoted Cleveland sports fan, she faithfully cheered on the Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers through every season. She was also a lifelong Beatles enthusiast, with a particular admiration for Paul McCartney. Above all, Joyce will be remembered for the love, warmth, and laughter she shared so freely with all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A private Celebration of Life service will be held.
