Just received the notice of Kathryn V. Corso's passing,  I am totally sorry to hear of this,  I remember her bringing things to our Captain Thomas Taber yard Sale at her sister in law, Judy and brother Don place in Newaygo, because she was a part of the Society, God will give her many blessings, each of our members are truly outstanding people. This notice will be forwarded to our Chaplin.   Thank you for the notice.  Our usual thing we do is to buy a Genealogy Book and place it in Muskegon Genealogist Society Library, With her name as donated by the Society..  Thank you so much.   Clara E. Vickers

What I shared with Kay...laughter, intellect, music, love, eye-rolling, shoulder shrugging, short fuses with imbeciles, a great recipe, a  love affair with the written word.  
I shall end with one of Kay's gems...
" 'Here's to you' he said....and the bloody bugger drank it himself!".

Russ and family,
Thinking of you and sending condolences on the passing of Kay.  She always made me feel so welcomed from the day we met. From that day forth we created many memories together and she was the best Grandmother a person could hope to have for their children. Kay made every day special when she came to visit or going to Florida, Sea World, and various Zoo's. The world's best "Grandee"! I will treasure those memories forever. Rest in Peace Kay.

I grew up alongside Ken, Bob, and Heidi through junior high and high school, spending many days at their home and sharing time with Kay. She was always gracious and welcoming—a wonderful hostess who made everyone feel at ease. Her boundless creative energy not only enriched her own life but also encouraged others to explore their own creativity.

I remember many thought-provoking conversations with her and always appreciated her insights. She had a special gift for making everyone feel heard and included, something I have always admired.

Michael, Heidi, Ken, Bob, and Russ, my heart is with you in Kay’s passing. I am so sorry for your loss, and I hold all of you in my prayers.

Mr. Corso, Mike, Bob, Ken and Heidi,
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Corso. I have nothing but fond memories of her and always enjoyed her company and her quick wit, dry sense of humor was always a breath of fresh air.  
Kay was one of the most creative and talented people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was always the first to help in the neighborhood, organize parties and bring others together. Her warm and loving spirit was evident to all of us. I remember the days that she would come and visit our house, my mother and her would talk and laugh for hours. I miss the bantering back and forth she would do with my father, never letting him get away anything. I know both of my parents thought the world of Kay. I am so grateful for Heidi bringing her to my brother’s celebration of life and getting to spend some time with her that day. Kay was always there for my parents, when my mom passed, she always would keep an eye on my dad and make sure he wanted for nothing. I will forever be grateful for the love she showed my parents and our entire family. 
Please know that Kay made this world a much better place to live. 
 I can only imagine the reunion they are having with all the neighbors up in heaven.
