

Larry was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robin W. and Hazel Galt in 1941. Graduated Highlands High School in Washington State and Earned Degrees from Los Angeles City and Excelsior College. Mr. Galt served honorably as First Sergeant in the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Operations from May 1959 to October 1979, including time in Vietnam, Thailand, Misawa Japan, Virginia, Colorado, and Fort Devan Massachusetts.
Larry had a deep love for all things culinary and baking, growing tomatoes, sudoku puzzles and codes, amateur radio operations, family genealogy, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the outdoors. Larry was the keeper of family stories and nothing excited him more than a solving a challenging problem and becoming an expert on some new hobby. Larry celebrated his faith in God at the Brunswick church of the Nazarene.
Beloved husband of the late Donna Galt (Weed). Brother to Don Galt. Loving father to his son Loren Galt and wife Jennifer, son Jason Galt and Hope Kross, Daughter Ellisa Kobylak and husband Matt, son Damon Galt and wife Maya Camhi, and two grandsons of Matt and Ellisa Kobylak, Maxwell and Payton.
Family and friends will be invited to an inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery which will take place at a later time.
