A person who never had an unkind word about any one, who would laugh at himself, smile with his eyes, was our best friend Leny.

Thinking of the entire Romankowski Family today.  So sorry for your loss.  Memories of Hillsdale....wow.  We had the best neighborhood.  Mrs.  Romankowski was so helpful when my Mom was sick.  It's things like that you never forget.  Actually, my older sister told me how Mrs. Romankowski would come over to clean and spruce the place up when our Mom was sick.  How nice of her.  I was a little girl at the time.  My sister had other fond memories also.  
May you find peace in the days ahead and rejoice in a life well lived.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. I will always remember Len's smile! And I will treasure the times when you and Len went on my bus trips, when you and Len visited with my mom and dad and the delicious candy Len made around the holidays! Thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

My Dearest Daddy, Oh Lord, what can I say? I have been honored and blessed to call you Dad for 58 wonderful and exciting years. I knew someday this hour would arrive. No matter how much I tried to prepare myself, this is the most difficult day in my life. I know it is the happiest day of your life to go home to be with the Lord in the house he has prepared for you. But, that does not make it easier for the ones left behind. I am happy for you Dad. I want to thank you for EVERYTHING you have done for me. Being the best father that I could have asked or prayed for, the best teacher, to give me the knowledge and understanding that I so needed, and to be able to call you my BEST FRIEND. We shared so many things in this life, I cannot write all of them down. I thank you for every one of them, the good and the bad! We did them together. You taught me everything I know, and I thank you for that. But most of all Daddy, you taught me love. The most important of them all. Without it, everything else has no worth. Last Daddy, but not least, you gave me the name Romankowski. You gave me this gift with honor and blemish free. I will keep this gift and cherish it with my whole heart, mind, body and soul and protect it and guard it with my life. This Daddy, I give you my word. As for Bernadette, your loving wife and partner for 62 years and my Mother, I will take care of her and protect her till Hell freezes over. So don't you fret none, Mom is in great hands, this too, I give you my word. Daddy, I will NEVER say good-bye to you, I WILL say I LOVE YOU and will miss you, but, we WILL be together again in Paradise some day. To Bernie and family, we are so sorry to hear of your loss of Len. I've known you since I was a little girl going up to our Bright Lake cabin. It was fun listening to all of those fishing stories of Len and my Dad. Bernie taking care of Mom's cherished lamp as the cabin was totally remodeled and she teaching us to play a dominoes game, Turtle, I think is what it was called. Memories that will be treasured forever. I think of you every time I see "your" cabin. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Bernadette and Family Our Deepest Sympathy in loss of Len ,He was a Great Husband, Father, Grandfather, and to us Dear Friend .We first met Len  on Bright Lake Canada We had a huge Canadian fire on beach actually old shed.  Len said " Hey do you have a permit for that" thus began our friendship. He was always there to help and guide. Loved his family dearly and was always telling  stories in his Den  under the cottage.The memories at the lake will always be close in our hearts, Doug I Donna Nancy Matt will keep his memories close to our hearts. My Dearest Grandpa "Jack"-  I have always hoped this day would never come. I cant imagine what life is going to be like without you. You have always been such a caring and loving grandfather. You were always there when I needed you- whether it was help, advise or just a good laugh. I will always look back on the amazing memories we have shared (boating, jet skiing, the cabin in Canda, fishing, the holidays and everytime we spent time together) and the 27 wonderful years I had the honor of loving you.
