Aunt Pig,
I miss you dearly. My favorite memories will always coming to your house after school and hanging out with you for hours, begging you to make me rice and chilli nearly every day! I will cherish the fond memories we had together until we meet again.
Love you dearly
Marla or as you always called me Mona Lisa

Lettie I truly can't believe your gone it completely breaks my heart we have been friends since our Wally world days and no matter how many years passed by we still remained friends you we're a loyal friend who had a big heart who loved her family and friends with all her heart you we're willing to do anything for anyone even when we went a while without talking because life got busy when we picked back up it was like no time had passed at all. I'm gonna miss the crazy things we used to do for each other like make fake Facebook profiles to stalk people for one another. I'm so lucky to have had you in my life and having a beautiful friendship with you! Thank you for always loving me and accepting me for who I am! I am going to miss you with all my heart and even though I am so sad that you are gone I won't say goodbye I'll say see you later because I know one day I will see you again until then I will keep you in my heart! I love you Lettie. Your favorite Puerto Rican!

As long as I can remember growing up calling you talking in pig noises so you would threaten to come to sc to beat me. You had such a jokey personality and even in your 40s still new how to joke like a 20 year old. You were easy to talk to when advice was needed. I love you aunt pig I will miss all our conversations and hold you close to my heart.

I’m so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in God’s promise of a resurrection where we will be reunited with our loved ones who have passed away and will never be separated by death again - John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3,4

Aunt "pig" I will always love you and remember our fun times together when I was younger. Unfair that life's situations drew us apart but you will always live in my memories. See you in the future where others can not get in our way of us being family.

My favorite memory was when I was pregnant with Lukah and I would come over at least once a week just to hangout with you and go to your favorite stores while Jordan was at work. I enjoyed our time together, you would do my nails, tell me funny stories about your life, do crafts together. You welcomed me in your home even when we had our ups and downs. You were the best grandmother Lukah could ever ask for. You will be so incredibly missed. We love you so much

My favorite memories of Lettie (Pig) Newsome. The day that I walked into your home with your brother Mike was the day you captured my heart. You were so cute with your bouncy little personality that I was immediately drawn to you. Over the years we spent a lot of time together. I appreciated all your help with Erica & Marla, especially Marla when she was so sick. Over the years, I have missed our long talks over the phone. My favorite memory of us was the time we fell asleep in a chair holding hands when we found out your Dad passed away. Pig, you were always special to me and I love you. May God hold you in his arms as you make this journey home.
