Linda Jean Trent (Nee Hoover), age 73, of LaGrange, Ohio passed away Wednesday July 29, 2026. Linda was born August 21, 1952 in Newport TN. Beloved daughter of William and Imogene Hoover (Nee Webb). Devoted wife for 57 years to Raymond (Mike) Trent. Loving mother of Michael Trent (Tracy), Robert (Bobby) Trent, and Donna Pirro. Dearest Mamaw of nine grandkids and Great Mamaw of seven great-grandkids. Dearest sister of the late Francis (Bob deceased) Wendell, Shirley (Jerry) Stollings, the late Geraldine (Ernest) Rudolph, Janet (Bob) Venorsky, Charles (Bill) Hoover, and Karen Hoover. Dearest aunt and friend of many.
Linda leaves behind a beautiful legacy through the family she loved so deeply. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she made sure each of us knew just how loved we were. The values she instilled, the traditions she created, and the unconditional love she gave will continue to live on through all of us.
Whether you were family or a friend, if you were facing a difficult situation or someone was against you, she stood by your side without hesitation. She was incredibly loyal, and in her eyes, you were always worth defending. Knowing you had Linda in your corner meant you never had to face anything alone.
One of the greatest examples of love she gave us was the life she built with her loving husband. They shared 57 wonderful years of marriage, a love story defined by faithfulness, sacrifice, laughter, and unwavering devotion. She was truly the love of his life. Watching him care for her so selflessly during the last several months as her health declined was a beautiful reminder of what it means to love someone wholeheartedly. Their love was rare, inspiring, and the kind of love that everyone hopes to find.
Family will receive friends Monday August 3, 2026 from 4-8PM at Craciun Funeral Home. 14925 Bagley Rd. Middleburg Heights, OH 44130. Where Funeral Service will take place at 10 AM on Tuesday. Burial at Eastlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Brunswick OH.
