MARGARET "PEGGY" MATHNA

MARTHA "PEGGY" MATHNA age 68. Passed peacefully on September 28, 2017. Beloved daughter of the late Woody and Kathryn. Peggy was an experienced Political Operative and Lobbyist. She worked with the United States Congress for over twenty five years. She served as Congressional Chief of Staff, and as a Staff Director of two congressional committees. She served as a campaign advisor and a professional Government Affairs consultant to domestic and foreign governments, embassies and businesses on large-scale economic development projects in the U.S., Middle East, Asia and Africa. . She was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum from 1986 - 2002. A consultant to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, The Smithsonian Museum of American History, The Cooper Hewitt-National Museum of Design. Since 2003, she was a board member of the Los Angeles Chapter of St. Jude Research Hospital. Peggy was a studio musician in L.A. attended Otis/Parsons School of Design and has a political science degree from The Ohio State University. A special "Thank You" to her caregiver Tracy Cox for always being there for her. Contributions requested to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
