Margie Galbincea (nee. Shannon), age 92, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late George; caring mother of the late Stephen (Cynthia), Elaine, David (Annette), and Susan Madama-Robertson (William); grandmother of Adam, Benjamin, Nicholas, Hannah, and Holland; great-grandmother of Lilly, Dominic, Milo, Asher, Emma, Marcella, and Alice; sister of the late Rose Fruchey, Leo Shannon (Rosie), the late Sue Ebenhoch (Tom), Carolyn Enders, and Michael Shannon (Jeri); and loving aunt and friend to many.
Margie was highly intelligent, capable, and strong-willed with a good sense of humor. For many years, Margie was a Registered Nurse, graduating second in her class in 1954. She was always an avid learner, going back to school and obtaining her bachelor’s degree at Baldwin Wallace University after her children were raised. She lived a life of great faith and instilled that in her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren provided her with great joy in her later years. Margie will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, September 18 from 8AM-9:30AM at Craciun Funeral Home 14925 Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10AM to take place at Mary Queen of the Apostles 6455 Engle Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44142. Margie will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark, Ohio.
