Michael was born October 21, 1947 in Cleveland, the son of the late Peter and Anne (Resick) Pecenka. He is the beloved husband of Karen East; loving father of Danielle Cullen (John) and Samantha Prohaska (Dave); cherished grandfather of Audrey and Claudia Cullen and Max and Violet Prohaska; dear brother of Carol Terhes; adored uncle.
Michael was a graduate of Notre Dame, University of Southern Cal and Case Western Reserve University. He was an engineer at NASA and Hughes Aircraft before he began his practice of dentistry in Strongsville for 40 years. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf, and was a member of the Westfield Country Club.
A visitation for Michael will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Craciun Funeral Home, 14925 E Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Craciun Funeral Home.
