Mildred Ann Kilo

Mildred Ann Kilo (nee Weizer) passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late John; devoted mother of Lynda Hamilton (Robert, Jr.), John Kilo (Patrice-deceased), Janet Mitchell (Jimmy), and David Kilo (Lori); cherished grandmother of Jason Tiller (Kim), George Tiller, Julie Roelandts (Koen), Robert Hamilton III (Seinya), John Kilo (Sara) and Nicholas Kilo; loving great grandmother of Cherish Oquendo (Javier), Vincent Roelandts, and Julian Roelandts; caring great-great grandmother of Miabella and Javier III; dear sister of the late Ann Rose Weinbroer, Catherine Toth, Gertrude Beno, and Bernard Weizer; special aunt and friend of many.

Mildred passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of faith, devotion, and quiet joy that will live on in all who knew her.

She had a deep and abiding love for the Blessed Mother, finding comfort and strength in her faith throughout her life. She lived with remarkable strength, having survived two battles with breast cancer. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved working on puzzles. She enjoyed a good strawberry daiquiri and a spotless home brought her great satisfaction—cleaning was not just a chore, but something she truly enjoyed and took pride in. No holiday ever passed without her home beautifully decorated, filled with warmth, tradition, and festive cheer that made everyone feel welcome. A well quaffed hair do was essential - she always enjoyed her weekly hair and nail appointments.

Above all, she loved her family deeply and was deeply loved in return. Her laughter, her faith, and her care for others created memories that will be cherished forever.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at St. Mary's Church, 250 Kraft St., Berea EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

The family will receive friends TUESDAY 4-7 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
