I wholeheartedly adored my cousins, Nicky and Trisha when I was a little girl. One of my favorite memories was when their family came to visit us in California.  They returned after a day of excursions and I was already in bed sleeping. But Nicky insisted on waking me up to give me a stuffed animal - a frog that he had won earlier that day. I was so excited! He asked me what I wanted to name him and my answer was Froggy Froggy Nicky! They all laughed so much. But for years after that we talked about that little frog. I still have Froggy Froggy Nicky and now, more than ever, I intend to keep it close. Nick, I'm wishing you peace and love and I hope you look out for me in Heaven as you always did on earth. I love you! And I love (y)our family always and forever.

From our Strongsville/Midpark rivalry to disc jockeying at Kent and Cleveland States to a million adventures all over Ohio, Nick was one of the best friends I ever had. His sense of humor, his style, his zest for music and life were second to none. We were a couple of glam kids from the Westside who would scrape up change to pay turnpike tolls when we headed back to Kent on Sunday evenings but still always found a way to make metal night at the Akron Agora on the way. We had so many adventures and I am grateful for each one. I send love to the heavens to you, Nicholas Mc Coy, Teen Idol/Rock Star 🖤 You will live forever in my heart 

Rest in Peace Nick. We may not have been close. But you were loved. 

Nick and I would attend many concerts in the Eighties at Shadows Niteclub and Diversions Niteclub just hanging out and watching bands, we lost connection for awhile but reconnected a couple years ago, Rock In Peace, my brother 

So sorry to hear about Nicky's passing.  I've only seen him a few times since he moved from home.  I''m sure that his entire family will miss him much!
