In Loving Memory Petru Vidican (October 11, 1944 - May 3, 2026) Petru Vidican lived a life marked not only by years, but by faith, dignity, and steadfast love for God and family. Born during World War II in Talpoș, Romania, he faced early hardship and loss with quiet strength and deep trust in the Lord. Through honest work, devotion to his family, and unwavering faith in God, he built a life of purpose and integrity. In 1966, he married his beloved wife, Florica, and together they created a home grounded in love and faith. They were blessed with their son, Tudor, and his wife Simona (Zaha), and later with two grandchildren, Brian Peter and Luca Owen, who brought him immense joy. In 1986, Petru emigrated to the United States and began a new chapter. He worked faithfully for 24 years at the Cleveland Clinic, where his kindness, encouragement, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on those around him. A devoted member of the Cleveland Romanian Baptist Church, Petru served with humility and dedication—singing in the choir, leading prayer, supporting those in need, and contributing faithfully to the life and ministry of the church. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and as a man of deep faith— gentle in spirit, strong in character, and generous in heart. Petru is survived by his wife Floare, son Tudor (Simona), grandchildren Brian Peter and Luca Owen, sister‑in‑law Ecaterina Călătean (George), niece Simona Pașca (Narcis), and grandnieces Elizabeth (Alex), Abigail, and Damaris (Ioel). He is also lovingly remembered by many extended family members in Romania, as well as a wide circle of friends and his cherished church family, who held him in deep respect and affection. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:
