Becky was a beautiful and caring person. Her warm smile and friendly personality always welcomed family and friends into her arms. Becky absolutely loved the outdoors. On nice days you could find her working in her yard. She was known for her green thumb and amazing gardens. On stormy days, Becky enjoyed sitting on her front porch watching storms roll in and out for hours. She worked as a medical insurance biller for Manuel Garcia Prosthetic Lab for over 40 years, where everyone in the building became like family. Becky had a love and passion for horses her entire life. In her 30’s she bought beautiful “Bud,” her quarter horse, and is now riding into the sunset with him. Becky loved her yearly trips to Nagagami, Canada with the love of her life, Phil. There they fished and enjoyed the beauty and majesty of Canada together. Becky and Phil have shared love and friendship for over 40 years. They met over 50 years ago as grade school students at St. Bridget’s and have a lifetime of memories together. Becky was a devoted, loving and dedicated mother to Colleen and Jason. She was so proud of all they accomplished and was so happy that they both found the love of their lives. “To the world you are a mother. To our family you are the world.” She adored her grandchildren with all of her heart. Becky loved watching them play sports, perform in bands, sing, dance and ride horses whenever she could. Her grandchildren were her world. She was extremely close to her loving parents, Grace and Al, who always felt blessed by their beloved daughter. Becky and her brother are only 11 months apart, and they have many happy memories of growing up in their close knit family. She was a sweet sister to Greg, and a loving sister-in-law to Andrea. Becky’s lifetime best friend, Maria, rode horses, went on adventures and laughed until they cried together. They lived by this motto “Blessed are women whose hearts and souls are joined together by laughter and tears for they shall be known as sisters.” Becky was a very loving aunt, cousin and friend to countless people. She was loved by all. Thank you to all who have been on Becky’s life journey with her. You all meant so much to her, and to our family.
