Richard D. Myers

Richard D. Myers age 78, of Middleburg Hts, OH, passed away on December 12, 2016. Born February 18, 1938 in Dayton, OH to the late Richard and Reba Myers and dear brother of four. Mr. Myers was an educator for the Strongsville School District for over 30 years. He was active member of Quarry Lodge, New Hope Eastern Star Chapter, Lakewood White Shrine, and Job’s Daughters Bethel #55 (Past Associate Grand Guardian, Oh). Richard was an active member of his community and was passionate about volunteer work, especially in his church’s Blue Bus Ministries. He was preceded in death by his son, Steve. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Elly; son, Jeff; grandchildren Nikki (Chad) Droney, and Jackie; and great-granddaughter, Autumn. A Celebration of Life will be held at Strongsville United Methodist Church, 13500 Royalton Rd. Strongsville 44136, on Thursday, December 22, at 11 am where family will greet relatives and friends at 10 am until time of service.
