ROBERTA DALE BERMAN

Roberta D Berman born August 1, 1935 in Steubenville, Ohio to Charlotte and Robert Richards (deceased). Roberta was the oldest of 6 children. Brothers  Edwin Richards (Paula, deceased), Paul Richards (Sue) and David Richards (Joie Bryant). Sisters Pauline Tretock (Frank) and Kathryn Richards.  Married to Henry Kosko after high school and had three daughters. Judith Mahoney (Todd), Barbara Sliva (Michael) and Debra Bartek (Ronald, deceased). Retired from Republic Steel after many years working in various departments.   Roberta married Kenneth Berman on February 14, 1983.  Blessed with  13 grandchildren. Jennifer Cauley (Donald), Jessica Fischer (Philip), Kerri Mount (Bryan), Jessica Suder (Matt), Ryan Neel (Sarah), Tami Mahoney, Wade Mahoney (Alyssa), Eric Bartek, Brooke Mahoney (Nate Lewis), Miranda Sliva, Summer Bartek, Shane Bartek, and Halle Sliva. Roberta also had the blessing of enjoying her 20 great grandchildren. Micah, Elizabeth, Marissa, Gavin, Blake, Landon, Jaxon, Elliott, Olivia,  Alanna,  Maia, Reagan, Jacob, Nevaeh, Keegan, Carson, Cameron, Lincoln, Jarrod and Jameson.  Roberta was a hard worker and enjoyed life. She especially enjoyed playing horse shoes, bowling, reading, cake decorating  and going to the race track.  She did have luck on her side.  Regardless of the situation, she never would let herself get defeated but rather grabbed the challenge and did what needed to be done.   A great role model to all.  Mostly she enjoyed anytime she could spend with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  There was not a one that wasn’t her “favorite”
