Sandra R. Previte

SANDRA PREVITE (nee Barberic), age 63. Passed away after a brief illness. She is survived by her loving fiancé Jeff “Coach” Eicher, Sandy is also the widow of Matt Previte whom she was married to for 26 years before his passing in 2013. Loving mother of Nicole Giaco Frey (husband Randall) and her three grandchildren whom she adored, Avery, Ashton and Addison Frey. Also survived by her loving parents, Thomas and Gladys Barberic, brother Tom Barberic (Debbie Fragapane-Conyers), sister, Linda Barberic (Keith Berr), late sister, Elaine Barberic (Dave Doncevic), her brother Brian Barberic (Janet), nephew Colin and niece Ella.

Sandy always said “Don't be too sad when I go because I had a hell of a good life, I had a lot of fun and was blessed with many friends”.

Sandy spent 30 years in the banking industry after embarking on a modeling career right out of high school that lasted 10 years while in her 20s, making lifelong friends in both careers.

She was also passionate about skiing and skied all over the country. She loved to cook, especially for “Coach” (Jeff Eicher), she was probably the hugest David Bowie fan around. She also enjoyed traveling with Jeff and her late husband, visiting over 30 tropical islands some of them multiple times and going on seven cruises.

She always said that she was fortunate to be loved by two amazing men.

One of her favorite sayings was “how do you expect to receive if you do not give”. Participating in charitable donations and events were very important to her.

In lieu of flowers, Sandy would like to have contributions made to the American Diabetes Association in honor of her late sister, Elaine Barberic who suffered severe complications from this illness and ultimately led to her death.

Funeral services Monday March 3, 2025 at the funeral home 10:30 AM. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends SUNDAY 1 – 5:00 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
