SHARON L. BALOGH (nee Petruzzi), age 71. Beloved Wife of 50 years to Ray. Loving Mother of Benny and Andy. Cherished Nonni of Gianna and Elliot. Dearest Sister of Judy and Anthony Petruzzi. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Sharon was a kind and gentle soul, deeply rooted in her faith and devoted to serving others. She was the cherished mother of two sons, whom she loved deeply and nurtured with a heart full of grace, wisdom, and unwavering faith.
One of Sharon’s greatest joys was using her God-given gift of music to glorify the Lord and encourage others. From a young age, she traveled to churches, singing alongside her father and three sisters. Together, they recorded albums and ministered through song, touching countless lives with their harmonies and testimony.
Sharon also had an extraordinary gift for playing the piano. Her anointed playing brought peace, hope, and joy to those who heard it. Whether in a church service or a quiet moment, her music was a ministry of its own—softly pointing hearts toward heaven.
Her passing has left a deep void in the lives of all who knew and loved her. As we come together to celebrate Sharon’s life and legacy, we are also faced with the challenge of covering funeral and memorial expenses. Unfortunately, Sharon did not have life insurance, and the financial burden now rests on Pastor Ray and their family.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Sharon’s honor to the Abundant Life Counseling Ministries.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 10th, 2025, 11 am at Harvest Ridge Church, 35600 Lorain Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039 (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Final resting place Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends FRIDAY May 9th, 2025, from 5 – 7 pm at Harvest Ridge Church. Arrangements entrusted to the A. RIPEPI AND SONS’ FUNERAL HOME, 440-260-8800.
