Sharon was born in Cleveland on June 17, 1948. She grew up in North Royalton, attended Byzantine Catholic High School, and graduated from St. John’s College. She and her husband, Greg, raised their family in Berea, Ohio, where she lived for 47 years.
She began her career as an elementary school teacher in the Catholic school system and later worked a part-time job at Parma Hospital in the radiology film room so she could spend more time with her family. She retired from Parma Hospital and then stepped into one of her favorite roles in life: being a grandma.
She cherished each role she held throughout her life - mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. Her favorite times were when the people she loved could all be together. Sharon enjoyed nothing more than being with her family and friends, attending her grandchildren’s events, celebrating holidays, and watching Cleveland sports.
She had the ability to make friends with everyone around her, learning their stories along the way. People loved Sharon because she was incredibly kind and genuine, and because she took the time to appreciate others and make them a part of her life. She demonstrated extraordinary bravery and resilience the last few years of her life.
Sharon is survived by her children: Gregory (Angela) Fisher, Patrick (Jennifer) Fisher, and Kathleen (Joseph) Reinart; her grandchildren: Molly, Lucy, and Jacob Fisher, and Joseph, Owen, and Nicholas Reinart; and her brothers, Rick (Denny) Singel and Joseph (Luanne) Singel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Greg; her mother, Helen (née Blanar) Singel, who passed away during her childhood; her parents, Joseph and Lynne (née Beyer) Singel; and her brothers, Ron and Chris Singel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church (250 Kraft Street, Berea, OH 44017). The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church.

Private inurnment will follow at a later date at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peninsula, OH.
