Simon German

He was a devoted husband of Johanna for 61 years, loving father of Heidi Mueller (Rick) and Edith Urban (Norbert) and proudest Opa of Patrick, Philipp, Emily (Alex), Stefanie and Victoria.

He was a proud retiree of General Motors, having retired in 2000 after 28 years of loyal service as a Maintenance Welder.  He was a dedicated, hard-working family man who enjoyed working in the garden, playing cards, watching hockey, dancing, as well as helping his sons-in-law on renovation projects (which was always much appreciated!);  mostly, however, he treasured the time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed and will stay forever in our hearts.

Funeral Service 12:30pm, Friday July 1, 2022 at A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home, 18149 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Hts. (West of I-71).  The family will receive friends Friday July 1, 2022 from 11am until time of service.
