We were so sorry and surprised to hear about Stan’s passing at such a young age. Growing up, the highlight of every summer was the time spent with my favourite cousins. Rest in peace, Stan.

Stanley and I were lab rats together at Alliance College. We were the only two majoring in physics under Doctor Norman. He was Rex at our fraternity the year we graduated. 
ARTICLE XV
GRADUATION RITUAL
Section 1. At the last meeting each school year, the gradu-
ating Rex shall recite the following Graduation Ritual: (If the retiring Rex is unavallable, the oldest ranking Senior shall recite 1t.)
"And Ruth said, 'Entreat me not to leave thee and to return from following after thee, for whither thou goest I will go, and where thou lodgest, I will lodge; thy people shall be my people and thy God, my God. Where thou diest, I will die and there will I be buried.
Jehovah smite me if aught but death part thee and me!! "
The meeting's close approaches, and with it there surges within us a struggle of emotions. Eagerness for the fray that awaits mingles with the pangs of sorrow at our withdrawal from the shelter of this, our home.
"Never again will the brothers here assembled sleep 'neath one roof, break bread at one table, hearken to wisdom from one master nor answer to one call.
"Now Is divided the path we trod in the late night and early morn.
Now will be still the sweet hours of confidences shared, of tales we hardly dared breath -- even to ourselves.
The friendly stars that twinkled approval, the gracious moon that followed to light our way, the motherly sky that bent about us, are all too soon becoming part of recollection's dream of life's dearest past.
"We will, all of us, henceforth, make new friends, many friends, too many friends. But those associations will not have been conceived in unselfishness, born in youth, reared in a common purpose; nor shall they nor any of them have ripened into the unthinking; unscheming fraternal love we have known here among one another."

Rest in peace, my dear friend, and please forgive me for not being there to help with your send off, but in my heart. I still carry great memories.
