Taska J. Douglas

Taska (Taffy) Douglas (nee: Tramba), age 81, passed away on Thursday July 20th, 2023.  Loving wife of 60 years to her late husband Charles P. Douglas Jr.  Beloved mother to Jill Troppe (Tony) and Jacki Hudnall (Larry).  Devoted Grandmother to Michael Troppe, Gabriel Troppe, Paige Hudnall and Adyson Hudnall.  Daughter to the late Stanley and Virginia Tramba.   

After fighting a long, hard battle with cancer for several years, she is now at rest.  Taffy was an integral part of the community serving Revere Local Schools for over 30 years as a bus driver.  She worked hard and loved what she did.  Taffy was born in Akron and resided in Richfield where she raised her family.  She was always happy to share a smile and laugh with anybody that she met.  Her lifetime passion was raising and showing Quarter Horses.  She was a 4-H advisor in which she loved sharing her knowledge and passion for all animals.  You could always find her in the barn with the horses or working outside on her farm.  Her endless energy and work ethic surpassed most.  Taffy’s grandchildren were a big part of her life in which she cherished every moment spent with them.  She loved Holiday and family dinners.  Everyone was always welcome- the more the merrier.  Taffy was the person that was the glue to bringing family together.  We will dearly miss her charismatic loving personality. 

Memorial service Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 11am at Richfield United Church of Christ, 4340 W. Streetsboro Road, Richfield Ohio.
