Surviving are his mother, Mildred (Mason) Banks-Edwards; brother, John A. (Bridget) Banks, Cresco, Michigan; sister, Pamela A. Banks, Indianapolis, Indiana; sister, Vera N. Banks, Flint, Michigan and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and loving companion Lori Busher.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbert E. Banks Sr.; grandparents Alex John and Julia (Childress) Banks, and Sylvester “Buck” and Sadie (Horsley) Mason.
