William D. Schmidt

WILLIAM “Bill” SCHMIDT, age 73. Beloved husband of the late Jan (nee Goodykoontz); devoted father of Nicole Schmidt, Dan Schmidt (Marissa), and Kelsey Schmidt; cherished grandfather of Addison and Jackson; dear brother of Renee Fonte, Nancy Schmidt (Arnie Novak-deceased), Gregg Schmidt (Kathy), Bobby Hayduk, and Cathy Grubbs (Andy); caring son of the late William Schmidt and Coletta Hayduk (Robert)(both deceased); dear brother in law of Jill Kish (Dave); and loving son in law of Mary Alice Goodykoontz and the late Jack Goodykoontz.

Owner/Operator of Schmidt’s Enterprise, a roofing company for more than 25 years.

“In memory of his love for his family, they ask that donations be made in lieu of flowers. All contributions will go toward ensuring a bright future for his beloved grandchildren, Addison and Jackson. Cash and checks will be accepted at the service.”

A Celebration of his life will be 1-4 PM Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the UAW Hall Local 1005, 5615 Chevrolet Blvd., Cleveland Ohio 44130.
