Charlotte P. Hare Brown

Charlotte P. Brown, age 88, of Lockport, entered into rest on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Niagara Hospice of Lockport. Born May 9, 1927 in the Town of Yates, Charlotte is the daughter of the late: Lewis and Florence (Hare) Porter.

Charlotte married Ernest Brown May 23, 1953. Ernest passed away in 2001. She was a member of the Middleport United Methodist Church.

Surviving Charlotte are her children: James E. (Reverend Cheryl) Brown of Middleport and Judith A. Brown of Lockport. Charlotte was predeceased by a brother: William L. Porter. She is also survived by cousins: Charles and Marge (Porter) Perry and Mary Porter and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the County Line United Methodist Church, 1385 County Line Road, Barker, NY 14012 on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 10 am until 11 am. Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 11:00 am with the Reverend Merrill Bender officiating. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY.
