Fitzhugh Leon Trenum

Fitzhugh Leon Trenum, age 86, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025. He was born November 14, 1938 in Westernport, Maryland, the son of Clarence William and Edna (Metcalf) Trenum.

Fitzhugh worked for GM for 32 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching ANY sports. He loved riding his mower with his grandchildren on his lap, eventually started his own mowing company. He was very close with his eight brothers and his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis; brothers, William, Donald, Norman, Raymond, Ronald Trenum; sisters, Joann Trenum and Patsy Gardner.

Fitzhugh is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Stephen) Mills; two sons, Fitz Trenum, Derek (Holly) Trenum; grandchildren, Toria, Michael, Christopher, Carlee, Hayley, Faye, Lillian, Derek; great grandchildren, Rosealyn, Sophie, Lucas, Kayla, Waylon, Amelia, Elijah, Juliet, Nova and expecting arrival of Atlas and Eden; brothers, David Trenum, Gilbert (Belinda) Trenum and Gary (Mary) Trenum; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be 11:30 am - 12:30 pm on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Encounter Church, 5346 Trenton Rd, Trenton, OH 45067. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:30 pm with Pastor Derek Trenum officiating. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
