Frank Schneider, 68, passed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ his Savior very unexpectedly on Friday morning, September 26, 2025, at Atrium Medical Center. His quiet ways, his kindness, and his enduring love will be so greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was born on September 6, 1957, in Middletown, OH to the late Walter Schneider and Ruth Ditmyer Shumate. He was preceded in death by his four brothers: Walt, Art, Billy, and Jimmy Schneider; his nephew, Greg Dearth, and his father-in-law, Bob Bennett. And special pets, Chrissy, Caesar, Sebastian, and Molly.
Frank enlisted in the US Army in 1976 during his senior year at Monroe High School. He later went into the Army Reserves and the US Navy until 1983. He was employed at Deceuninck of North America (Monroe, OH) for 37 years, retiring in 2022. While there, he worked in various roles, but most of his time was in the shipping department as manager. He was a loyal, dependable employee who was deeply grateful for the company because providing for his family was his highest goal. He valued the relationships he made with coworkers and vendors during those years.
He then took great joy in fully embracing retirement every single day! He started each day with coffee, prayer, and scripture. He enjoyed helping his friend, Brent, at his restaurant and developed new friendships there, especially his buddy, Kobe. He used his quiet gift of grilling to service his church family at Breiel Church of God and loved the opportunity to serve the Shalom guests. He loved the men in his small group at church. He was a loyal fan of the San Francisco 49ers and taught his kids all about collecting football cards!
Frank was a very patient and loving husband to Juli (Bennett) Schneider for 41 years. He was the loving, proud dad to Amanda Gilmore, Sarah Schneider (Joey Allcox), and Jeremy (Rachel) Schneider. He was the beloved Papa to Emersyn and Grayson Rogers and loved them dearly. He was the loving baby brother to Carolyn (Kenny) Harrison and the loving big brother to Mary (OC Fugate) Boggs. He was the devoted son-in-law to Shirlee Bennett and the grateful brother-in-law to Jill and Bill Agee. Frank is survived by many cousins, and he truly loved his many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
