James was Associate Pastor at Cross & Crown Church. James was born to Clayton & Lula (Fields) Halcomb in Splint, Kentucky.
James is preceded in death by his Mother, Father, twin sister Lorraine, brothers Willard, Raymond, Denny Halcomb. His sisters Shirley Roberts, Kathy Mackey, Deloris Jarvis, Helen Halcomb.
James is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Sherry (Smithers) Halcomb; one son, James Robert Halcomb; brother, Lonnie Halcomb Sr. (Glenda) Halcomb; sisters, Wilma (Don) Bennett, Beverly Vanover.
Maureen Romano (Alan Pell), Mable Halcomb and a host of nieces and nephews. He loved his family, church family and was a devoted husband and father.
James loved the Lord with all his heart. Through his ministry, James changed many lives. He loved Reading the BIBLE, studying God's word, fishing, camping, and thrift store shopping.
A Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Woodhill Cemetery, 6228 Hamilton-Middletown Rd, Franklin, OH 45005.
