Joe E. Richard

Joe is survived by his daughters, Terri (Frank) and Melissa and grandchildren, Claire (Mike) and Seth (Mariah).

He is preceded in death by siblings, Rex (Marjorie), Fern (Jim) Kieffer, Paul (Marilyn), Bert (Lavonda), Jerry (Barbara) and granddaughter, Bonnie Sue Wright. Married to the former Karen Berlin, mother of his daughters. Also married to Kathy Whitaker. Both wives preceded Joe in death.

Joe was employed with the Ohio State Patrol for 10 years, then with City of Trenton for 29 years. After retirement he spent his time raising beef cattle and assisting friends with repairs. He was a member of the Moose and Masonic lodge. He enjoyed various church services.

Visitation will be 11 am-1 pm, Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. The funeral service will follow at 1pm. Burial will be at Hickory Flat Cemetery, St Clair Township.

Memorial donations may be made to a food pantry or your preferred charity in memory of Joe.
