Joseph Douglas Honaker

Joe was a member of Towne Church. He retired from AK Steel after 35 years and then worked another 15 years at the Fairfield Inn, Middletown. Joe enjoyed planting a garden and sharing the homegrown green beans with his family and caring for his poodle, Jed.

In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Woodra "Woodie" Honaker; two brothers, Archie Honaker and Alan (Martina) Honaker; and a grandson, Dylan Honaker.

Joe is survived by his sons, Jeff (Pam) Honaker, Joseph (Theresa) Honaker, and John (Tonya) Honaker; grandchildren, Tate (Steph), Nik (Jennifer), Sara (Sam) Webb, Adam, Andrew and Kaila; four great grandchildren with another on the way; a sister-in-law, Pat Honaker; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 pm on Friday, May 22, 2026 at Towne Church. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mark Jackson officiating.
