Dear Greg, Connie, spouses and family,
Words cannot express the loss we feel of your beautiful mother. She was the epitome of class and grace. She made us all aspire to be like her when we grew up. Her energy was contagious!! I love the fact that many of us had siblings who were also fortunate enough to have her as well. She has been in our convos over the years!!
Deepest condolences,
Sherry and John Langhorne

Don and I were close friends of Joyce and Dale and their family for 60 years. Such beautiful people! We share with the family in the loss of her presence with us but rejoice knowing she is with the Lord. We will miss her as she was a devoted encouraging presence to all she met. Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Our sympathy goes out to Greg and Roxanne, Connie and Chuck, and all the grandchildren.

I will be praying for the family in the days ahead. Mrs. Porter is one of those teachers you never forget. I had her for 3rd grade almost 40 years ago and she was the best. I have ran into over the years at different places around town and she always called me by name. Beautiful Christian lady who made a lasting impact on so very many lives!!! I am grateful I was one of those lives. I can only imagine the people you are meeting in heaven who first learned of Jesus’ love for them inside your classroom. ♥️

Dear Mrs. Porter, you will be greatly missed. You were my 3rd grade teacher at Hunter Elementary many years ago. You were definitely my favorite teacher; always loving, enthusiastic, and patient. I am now a 3rd grade teacher myself! You instilled in me a love of learning that I continue to carry with me. You've touched so many lives over the years and will always be remembered. Condolences to the Porter family. May you rest in peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

I had her as my 3rd grade teacher and loved her very much. She had such an influence on me and can still recite The Lord's Prayer that she taught our class. I'm so proud to still let anybody know that I learned it in 3rd grade at school. She will be missed.

I'm at a loss for words 😥😥 So many wonderful memories came flooding in my mind ! You were the best teacher I have ever had ! I was so shy and afraid of so much and you made me feel safe and always showed you cared. Spending time with you outside of school always made me so happy, I could not wait to ride in your Orange Corvette then listen to your teaching stories as we would go through your old teachers books you would give to me because I wanted to be just like you when I grew up . Mrs.Porter, my heart hurts that you're gone and I'm so heartbroken for your family and friends. I Love You Always and will NEVER forget you and everything you did for me !
My deepest sympathy for the family and friends! All of you are in my Thoughts and Prayers!
