Joyce Ann Rose

Joyce Ann Rose, age 73, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Atrium Medical Center. Joyce was born April 1, 1947 in Middletown, Ohio.

Joyce liked to crochet and worked at Ryan's Steakhouse for many years. She went to Active Day in Franklin and loved her soda pop.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexander Rhodus Jr. and Ruth Marie (Thoelking) Conover; sisters, Bonnie Sherman and Linda Rose.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 26 years, James T. Rose; son, Joseph Lee Grzynkowicz and daughter, Sueanna Grzynkowicz; stepdaughters, Theresa King and Lisa Newcomb; grandchildren, Joshua James Lewis, Meridith (Enith) Rose; 3 great grandchildren, Jaxon, Julian and Jaylynn; step grandchildren, David King and kids and Bradley King; sisters, Carol Rhodus, Marcella Brewer and Pam Thacker; stepbrothers, Rusty Rhodus, Randy Clemons, Thomas Seabolt and Scott Seabolt; stepsister, Tammy Fraley; half brothers, Donnie Rhodus and Mike Conover; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-7 pm, Sunday, January, 10 2021 at The Gathering, 31 South Clinton Street, Middletown, OH. Funeral Service will follow at 7 pm with Rev. Dr. Patricia Anderson Cook officiating. Burial will be 8:30 am, Monday, January 11, 2021 at Grace Memorial Gardens.

I got to know Joyce this past summer visiting her daughter Sue- Anna she would come out and walk her Lil dog and come talk to us she was such a sweerheart and always so kind to me, we would go get things she needed or something for lunch or her soda pop, she always was a joy to seat and talk to, she love to tell stories of the past and how things have changed, Yes she will be missed but never forgotten! RIP Ms. Joyce God Bless the Family
