On December 30th 2021 began her greatest adventure
She was born December 7, 1933 in Haddix Kentucky, the daughter of Mitch and Lizzie Arrowood.
She was a devoted member of Stratford Heights Church of God and served as a greeter and in Bible school. She was an active member of the Stratford Heights Senior Adult ministry. One of her greatest joys was singing and praising God with her whole heart. When the spirit moved on her it was a sight to behold. And a greater prayer warrior you will never find. Her pastor refers to her as one of the few Proverbs 31 women.
She was an amazing wife, mommy, mamaw and granny that loved her family fiercely, and prayed over them daily without fail. She was the very heart of her family. To know her was to love her, she impacted everyone she met.
She loved to travel and find new adventures. She has visited every state with her family right along side her. She even traveled as far as Israel to be baptized in the Jordan river.
If you tried to write everything that was amazing about this woman it would take an entire book series to do so.
Her incredible life was filled with the love of her 5 children and their families. Brenda (Tom) Hamrick, Connie (Lawton) Chapman, Terry (Debbie) Walters, Eric (Terri) Walters, Teresa (Suvoyee) Rudd; 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. 2 siblings Lawrence Arrowood and Myrtle Leach.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert Walters in 1997 and Junior Tibbs in 1954.
Visitation will be 5 pm – 8 pm, Monday, January 3, 2022 at Stratford Heights Church of God, 4419 Nelson Rd, Middletown, OH 45042. A funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, January 4, 2022 with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.
