Matthew Walter Stoll

Born on August 29, 1964, at Middletown Hospital, Matt was the beloved son of Jerry and Delores Stoll, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his brothers Mike Stoll, Craig Stoll, and Robert Sutton.

Matt was known for his joyful spirit, his love of sports, and his deep connection to family. He participated in Special Olympics track events and enjoyed basketball, bowling, and watching his favorite teams, the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.

Matt especially loved holidays, family gatherings, and simple pleasures like swimming, watching movies, and coloring. He had a remarkable appetite for both food and life, embracing each day with enthusiasm.

Matt spent most of his life at the Bastin Group Home, where he was lovingly cared for. His family extends their deepest gratitude to Debbie Bastin, her family, and staff for the exceptional care, compassion, and love they showed Matt throughout his life.

Matt will be remembered for his kind heart, his warm hugs, and the joy he brought to those around him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be 12-1 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 PM. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.
