Mona was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and devoted Christian. Mona dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband (Herb) and their five children. Mona’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family, reading and fostering a loving environment. Her homemade buckeyes were legendary in the family and her holiday gatherings were eagerly anticipated by family and friends alike. Mona’s love for nurturing things was evident in her grandkid’s, beautiful flower garden, and teaching children about Christ as a Sunday school teacher for many years. Mona’s home was a haven of prayer and support, not just for her children but for countless others in need of guidance and comfort. Mona’s door was always open, serving as a gathering place for family and friends. Mona instilled her Strong values and religious beliefs in her family. Mona will be truly missed by her family and friends.
