Robert Ray Williams

Bob proudly served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He retired from AK Steel after 30 years of service. Bob owned Varsity Pizza for 11 years. Bob worked hard to provide for his family.

Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved 50’s and 60’s music. Bob coached softball through the years, along with enjoying Soap Box Derby. They are very thankful to have had him as the rock of the family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant son, Robert Jr.; sister, Sylvia; brother, Wilson; father-in-law, Preston Back and mother-in-law, Myrtle Back.

Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sandi Williams; daughters, Elizabeth Hensley, Cassie (Dean) Clark, Melissa Rae (Carl) Campbell; grandchildren, Niki, Danielle, Casey, David, Angie, Morgan, Emily, John Michael, Jon Andrew (special granddaughter-in-law, Rachel), Jason, Dezarae; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Eddie Williams, and many other loving family members and friends.

The family would like to thank Hospice Care of Middletown for their dedication and care of Bob.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM-3:00 PM on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM with Chaplain Barry Schafer officiating.
