Ronald Lee Susong, age 83, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2026, at home with his daughter Elisha and family. He was born on July 3rd, 1943, in Morristown, Tennessee, to Venice and Wilma Susong.
Ron graduated from Madison High School in 1962 and worked for his father for several years as a masonry apprentice. Shortly afterwards, Ron started Ronco Masonry, which he ran successfully until his retirement in 2017. Ron was highly respected as a masonry contractor for his skill, honesty, integrity, and commitment to do the right thing. His skill can be evidenced by the many homes, commercial buildings, and apartment structures existing in Butler and surrounding counties, West Virginia, and Texas.
Active in local organizations, Ron was a 32nd Degree Mason and affiliated with the Germantown Chapter, where he remains a member in good standing. He also affiliated with the local Shriners Organization.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Carole Shelton Susong (2006), and his younger brother Ray Susong, a U.S. Naval Aviator (2022).
Ron is survived by his four children: Darren, Brett, Jason (Leslie), and Elisha Beasley (Mark). Ron also has 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Surviving siblings include his sister, Dr. Linda Susong Spino and (Dr. Bill Spino of Dallas, Texas )and Dan Susong (Donna), Middletown, Ohio. Also included are Kimberly Jo Susong (Sister-in-Law) and Dear friend, Ruthie White.
In honor of Ron’s memory, contributions may be made to the Masonic Lodge, the American Cancer Society, or Hospice Care of Middletown.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 8th, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Breitenbach-Anderson Funeral Home, 517 S. Sutphin Street, Middletown, Ohio 45044. A Memorial Service will begin at 12:30 pm. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
