Royce Parks

Roy worked for AK Steel for 36 years starting in Maintenance leading up to teaching Electrical Maintenance. After his retirement he taught at Miami University Middletown. He also was an author of an Electrical Maintenance Book. Roy was a piano player for the Southern Gospel Quartet The Victors. They also recorded 8 albums. Roy also wrote and published several gospel songs. He was a Mason, member of Jefferson Lodge #90 of Middletown. Roy also belonged to the Model A Club. He attended Grace Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Marie (Denniston) Parks; son, Gary Steven Parks and brother, Robert C.(Jackie) Parks.

Roy is survived by his son, Kenneth (Martha) Parks; daughter-in-law, Beverly Parks; 5 grandchildren, Amber, Brooke, Justin, Elizabeth and Courtney; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and brother, Ronald D. (Peggy) Parks.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10 am, Monday, December 13, 2021 at Grace Memorial Gardens, 3023 Union Road, Middletown, Ohio 45005.
