Sunni Sierra Sommers

Sunni will be remembered with deep respect for the steady dedication she brought to her work and the care she extended to those around her. For 12 years, she served as a manager at Jersey Mikes in Mason, a role that reflected her reliability, commitment, and the quiet leadership she offered day after day.

Beyond her work, Sunni’s life was enriched by the things she loved. She loved to sing, and her beautiful voice touched many hearts. She held a special affection for sea turtles and the Gulf coast beaches, and she loved to swim—finding peace and joy in the water and along the shore. Above all, Sunni loved her family most of all, and that devotion remained at the center of her life.

Sunni is preceded in death by her father, Ronald D. Schroeder; brother, Ronald A. Schroeder; stepfather, Rolland “Sonny” Caudill Jr.; grandfather, Paul Nuckols and aunt, Melody Huff.

Sunni is survived by her husband, Kevin Sommers; sons, Max Sommers, Phoenix Sommers; stepdaughters, Sara Sommers Anderson, Maria Sommers; stepson, Adam Sommers; mother, Kimberly Elaine Caudill; grandmother, Barbara Nuckols; sister, Sandy Schroeder; niece, Haley Schroeder; aunts, Jackie Northrop,

Carolyn Bodey, Karon Jackson and many other extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 3 PM-8 PM at Armco Park, Shelter 26, 1223 N. State Rt. 741
