I will always remember him as the Gentle Giant. He would often stop by to see my late husband Jack and me and we looked forward to his visits, especially Jack. They were both in construction so a great deal of the talk was about that. However, Jack had been a drummer and tenor sax player in many Middletown Bands and although the music had changed a great deal since his playing days they shared a common love for the drums.
I never saw Terry angry no matter what the circumstances he always shrugged things off with just a smile and a "Well you just never know", thus my nickname for him Gentle Giant which he always got a kick out of. He also on occasions rode motorcycles with our two sons. .

We can all take a lesson from him, on how to handle not only life but a life-threatening illness because Terry certainly did it all with a smile and great courage. You will be missed by all of us but your memories will always be with us.

Terry loved going to Gatlinburg so we would all meet there and rent a cabin. We did this at least 2times a year. I am so glad we all met there just a month before he passed. I am glad we took pictures to remember all the fun trips there.
