A longstanding member of Living Word Missionary Baptist Church, Thomas’s life reflected the steady devotion and quiet faithfulness that come from years of commitment and fellowship. He will be remembered with respect and gratitude by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Murphy and brother, Kenneth Murphy.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Deborah Murphy; siblings, Darlene Thorpe, Joann Pax; sister-in-law, Joann Murphy and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2 PM-3 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Living Word Missionary Baptist Church, 8369 Princeton Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45044. A Funeral Service will follow at 3 PM with Pastor Jason Faulkner and Rev. Jason Callahan officiating. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
