He was a signmaker at the Cincinnati VA Hospital. Wilbur loved the outdoors: camping, fishing and bird watching. He enjoyed going to Bingo and also telling old war stories from his time he served in Vietnam in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents and grandparents he is preceded in death by his ex-wife, Carol (Bishop) Nickle; brother-in-law, Billy Ashely and nephew, Scott Wilson.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Nickle and brother, Gary (Kathy) Nickle and nephew, Hunker Nickle.
Visitation will be 12-1 PM on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 PM. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
