William Meyer Gehrs

William Meyer Gehrs, 80, of Middletown, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2025. He was born August 25, 1944 in Bonne Terre, Missouri the son of Louis A. Gehrs and Gertrude (Meyer) Gehrs.

Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force. He attended First Baptist Church. Bill started his own business, Gehrs Industrial Sales, and he loved every minute of it. He was generous, loving, and never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, friends and his beloved bulldogs.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Gehrs; brothers, Robert Gehrs and his late wife Helen, James Gehrs and his late wife Mary Ann; sisters, Rose Mary Pelot and her late husband Harry, Norma L Warren and her late husband Leo, Betty F Edinger and her late husband August and their son Robert “Bobby”, Joan Bins and her late husband William, Jacqueline Williams and her late husband John.

Bill is survived by daughter, Penny Nerderman; son, Gregory (wife, Diana) Gehrs both of Middletown; four grandchildren, Joshua Gehrs, Jordan (Jeffrey) Merland, Ethan and Megan Nerderman and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be 11:00am 1:00pm on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Scotty Robertson officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.
