Allen "Randy" Dees

Randy was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and served in the Army in the Military Police with a rank of Colonel E4P from 1988 to 1994. He was a veteran of Desert Storm. Randy worked as a paramedic for Winkler County EMS and was a CPR instructor. Randy was committed to public service and strived to make a difference in the lives of others. Randy never met a stranger. His larger than life personality, laugh and smile were contagious. He truly brightened the day of anyone he met.

Randy is survived by his wife Ivelyn; his mother, Billie Dees; sons, Jonathan, Michael and Patrick Dees, of Midland; stepdaughters, April Dennis and Amy Phillips of Midland; stepson, Chad Phillips of Midland; brother, Douglas Dees of Burkesville, Texas; sister, Kathy Dees Short and husband Tim Short of Portland, Texas; grandchildren, Alyssa, Briana, Kayli Dennis of Midland.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, Allan “Skip” Dees.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks because of Randy’s love and commitment to public service that donations be made to the Central Fire Department, which is located at 1500 W. Wall, Midland, TX 79701.
