Angelita Hernandez Ruiz

Angelita (Kelly) Hernandez Ruiz, 75 went to be with our Heavenly Father Wednesday, March 9, 2022, surrounded by her beloved family. A evening celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday March 15, 2022, under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Hwy, Midland Texas 79701 with Pastor Bridgette Lozano officiating. Funeral proceedings will follow Wednesday March 16, 2022, at Ellis Funeral Home chapel and the burial at Rest Heaven Gardens Cemetery, Midland, Texas.

Angelita H. Ruiz was born in Midland, Texas November 18, 1946, to Anita Olgin Hernandez and Alfredo Hernandez. In 1961 Angelita met the love of her Life and married Fidel Arocha Ruiz, March 13, 1963. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

Angelita was preceded in death by both parents Anita and Alfredo Hernandez, spouse Fidel Arocha Ruiz; two brothers, Alfredo, and Luis Hernandez and two sisters Juanita Perkins, Mickela Hernandez, and Son Matias H. Ruiz.

She leaves behind daughters Angelita (Angie) R. Esquivel and spouse Ruben Esquivel; Rosemary H. Ruiz, Anita Ruiz, Maryann Garcia, and Son Fidel H. Ruiz all of Midland. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren in whom she cherished and loved unconditionally.

Pallbearers will be Adrian Ruiz, Ruben R Esquivel, Christopher Pool, Anthony Ruiz, Christian Ruiz, Matias Ruiz, Jose Porras III, and Robert Perkins.

Honorary Pallbearers are Xavier Porras and Angel Esquivel in who are currently serving in our Country’s Armed Forces.

A public visitation for Angelita will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Hwy, Midland, Texas 79701. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 801 Andrews Hwy, Midland, Texas 79701. The burial will occur Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4616 N Big Spring St, Midland, Texas 79705.
