Barbara Lynn Ezell

She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas. Barbara was a co-owner of B&W Chemical Toilets alongside her sons. She married the love of her life, Thomas W. Ezell, on Valentine’s Day 1992.

Barbara was a wife, mother, sister, quilter, reader, avid collector, Pokemon Go enthusiast and, above all, a giver. Her greatest joy was seeing the faces of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren lite-up when she presented them with gifts.

Barbara was surrounded by a large loving family. She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Ezell; sister, Sandy Gamblin (Ronnie); sons, James “Dusty” Builta (Joanna) and Robert “Bobby” Builta (Lisa); daughters, Clarissa Bowers and Melissa Bogart (Daniel); stepsons, L.T. Ezell (Carmen) and Duane Ezell (Kara); 2 nieces; 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and counting.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Peggy Howle, Bob Howle and Bill Hunter; and brother, Robert Hunter.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 1-5 PM at Ellis Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 16, 2023, at 11 AM at Ellis Funeral Home followed by interment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Dusty Builta, Bobby Builta, LT Ezell, Duane Ezell, Daniel Bogart, Donnie Bowers will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Dylan Builta, Lance Builta, Kade Builta, Keelan Moore, JonMikel Bills, Austin Bogart, David Ezell, Ian Bryant and Cody Ezell.
