Betty Louise Williamson Miller

Betty was born on March 19, 1937, to Aubrey and AltaMae Williamson in Travis County. She married Jim Miller on October 9, 1964, and they shared 51 years together.

She loved to read her Bible and spend time with the Lord in worship. She worshipped the Lord at all times even in her final days reminding us that He is worthy of all praise, even in suffering. She was a mighty prayer warrior. She loved to be out and about whether it be attending her water aerobics class or shopping with her Becky. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and spent her life lavishing her unconditional love generously on them. She never met a stranger and was a treasure to all who knew her. As you can imagine, losing such an incredible person leaves a great hole but an amazing legacy.

Those left to cherish such memories are her husband Jim Miller; her children Louise (David) Watts, Joy (Bobby) Stacy, Tim (Pam) Reither; stepchildren Susan Hetzel, Jimmy Lou Lancaster, Mary Downs, Billy Miller and Mike Miller; her siblings Sarah Porter, Stephen Williamson and Aubrey (Sonny) Williams Jr.; Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Aubrey and AltaMae Williamson and her husband and wonderful father of her children Carroll Reither.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 9, 2015, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home. The celebration of life service will be Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bob Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park North.
