Billy was born to Imogene Price and M.C. Graham, who met and married on June 18, 1941. He was raised in a loving home that instilled in him the values of hard work, faith, and kindness that would define his life.
Billy graduated from George Washington Carver High School in 1963, where he was a standout track athlete. His determination and discipline as a young runner would later carry into every area of his life.
He was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served his country with honor. Following his military service, Billy built a respected career as an electrician and worked for many years at Russell Freeman and Associates, where he was known for his reliability, skill, and dedication to his craft.
On August 9, 1968, Billy married Lois Williams, the love of his life. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around family, faith, and community. Billy was a man of strong faith who loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where he worshiped faithfully and found fellowship. He never met a stranger—his warm smile, kind words, and open heart left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
He is survived by his son, Wesley Williams, and daughter-in-law, Sharon; five beloved grandchildren: Tyrone, Shemond, Brennon, A’toya, and Trystin; and twelve great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his later years. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Edward Williams; sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Thomas and son Lentric Hemphill; special aunt, Wanda Johnson Pope; special cousin, Linda Hicks; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and many cherished friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ellis Funeral Home, 4616 North Big Spring Street, Midland, TX 79705. Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 303 E Shandon Ave, Midland, TX 79705. A committal will follow from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery, 1620 N A St, Midland, TX 79705.
Serving as pallbearers are Anthony Resonso, Eric Taylor, Gordon Norris, Ceromie Coleman, Randy Prince, Nathaniel Brackens, Dawn Lee, Claud Jackson, and Rodney Hemphill.
Billy will be remembered for his unwavering faith, strong work ethic, deep love for his family, and the joy he brought to every room. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
