Bobby Paul Boaz

Bobby Paul Boaz was born in El Paso Texas on March 27th 1974 at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon to Cathie Ann Burwell and Billy Joe Boaz. He was raised as a small child in Odessa Texas and later grew up in Midland where he lived until the day God took him home.

Bobby had the most beautiful spirit of anyone that ever walked this earth. His children were the apple of his eye, and he had a grandson that he bragged about nonstop. He was a mama’s boy to say the least. His mother was his guiding spirit. Bobby was a smooth talker and a lady’s man. He had charisma that drew everyone he met into friendship. His life was all about enjoying family and friends. He was the best big brother you could ever ask for. Bobby was always ready to go to bat for the ones he loved win, lose, or draw. Bobby died suddenly of a heart attack on December 31st 2015 at Medical Center Hospital. He changed many lives while alive and his death was a shocking tragedy. Bobby gave his life to Christ on October 4th of 2015 alongside his sister Amy at Calvary Church in Midland Texas.

Bobby was always cracking jokes and enjoyed life to the fullest. His jokes were always funny even if it was the 20th time you’ve heard them, yet you’d still laugh. Bobby loved to dance. He loved rock and roll and some good ole country music. With arms wide open, By Creed was one his favorite songs. He was raised by Cathie his mother and Dub Huckabee his stepdad. Dub played a huge part in Bobby’s life and he loved him as if he was his own blood son. Rocking in his favorite chair and holding his babies was his favorite way to spend his time. He was a husband, father, son, brother, grandad, uncle, and friend, who will truly be missed by all.

He was survived by his wife Rachael Boaz; his oldest daughter Erin Spaulding and his only grandchild Carter Spaulding of Midland Texas; his 3 sons Tyler Boaz, Blaine Boaz, and Chance Justice and the youngest daughter Charlotte Boaz all of Midland Texas. Three siblings Amy Boaz, Ashley Huckabee of Midland Texas, and Gary Boaz of Boise Idaho; parents Dub and Cathie Huckabee of Midland Texas and Bill and Dora Boaz of Jackson Mississippi; his Grandfather Phil Boaz of El Paso, Texas and his Grandmother Margaret Burwell of Odessa Texas. as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many, many friends.

A Funeral Service Will be held at True Lite Christian Fellowship on Tuesday, January 5th, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. with burial following at Resthaven Memorial Park.
