More like a brother than a cousin. His mother, Mary, was my mother's youngest sister and we spent endless hours playing as kids. Carl had many nicknames as s kid. So no matter the name Carl Ray, Stinky, River or Colorado, i'll miss you forever. I love you cuz.

I have distinct and fond memories of Carl when he was young and oh so healthy. I remember his parents hanging on every news from Vietnam when he was there. I know he suffered a very long time. While he will be missed, it pleases me to know he suffers no more and is at peace. Thoughts and prayers for the family.

Carl Ray lived next door to me on Garfield when we were around ages 11-13. He and I used to play "flies and skinners" out on the dirt street in front of our houses till after dark. He could be seen throwing a rope at an imagined steer in his front yard for hours at a time. RIP Carl Ray, you will be missed.
